The Warmer Kiwi Homes Grant has been expanded — meaning up to 300,000 more households can now get a helping hand to make their homes warmer, drier and more energy-efficient. Recent changes mean more middle-income households may now qualify for 50–90% off insulation and up to 90% off heat pumps, where previously no support was available. Depending on where you live, your power provider, or whether you’re 65 years or older and hold a Community Services Card or SuperGold Combo Card, you may also be eligible for additional subsidies on top of the Warmer Kiwi Homes grant.
