Why you will benefit from insulation
A basic law of physics is that hot things get colder, cold things get hotter and eventually, they will usually end up the same temperature. This means in winter, the heat inside an un-insulated home will gradually escape outside and in summer, the heat outside will slowly flow inside. Heat and sound can pass through any material but some materials are more resistant than others. Insulation acts as a barrier to heat flow. It keeps the heat in when it’s cold and the heat out when it’s hot. The better quality the insulation, the better job it does.
