What our technicians do
When our technician arrives at your home, they’ll start by taking a before photo of your heat pump. The indoor unit is then carefully opened up and the necessary parts removed so the technician can access the heat pump coil and other areas where dust and dirt can accumulate.
The service includes:
- Cleaning the indoor coil using a specialist coil cleaner to remove built-up dirt and grime.
- Deep cleaning the unit with condenser cleaner, which helps break down stubborn dirt.
- Cleaning the filters with specialist filter cleaner to help bring older filters back to life.
- Cleaning the outdoor unit, which receives the same thorough treatment before being carefully hosed down.
- Rinsing and drying removed parts before everything is correctly re-installed.
Once the cleaning is complete, our technician takes after photos and carries out a maintenance run check to make sure the heat pump is operating as it should.
We’ll also leave a service card so you have a record of the maintenance carried out.
What is not included in a heat pump service?
It’s important to note that a heat pump service is preventative maintenance – it is not a repair visit for a broken heat pump.
Your heat pump needs to be operational when our technician arrives so that we can complete the service and carry out the maintenance run check.
